It seems I am really bad in explaining what we wanted, @it33. Really, security has nothing to do with this. Take Wordpress. Did it became less secure because websites made with Wordpress look all different? Of course not. Again... this is completely and utterly not related to security. I assume the problem is the word "Whitelabel". I wont use it again, as it seems to be perceived very different than what we need.
In our solutions all admin interfaces carry the standard look, feel, tools and upgrade connections. We do not change admin...
We want to change how the end user perceives the tool. As the success of the tool depends on how well it fit their needs. And these needs are different. Also in self hosted SaaS, one size does not fill all.
Let me give an example: for our purpose, we do not like hamburger menu MM uses. And with good reason. And what you telling is, is that even if we develop this configuration options in the code ourselves, we have zero influence if this will be included in the code or not. Even if I put a full time software developer on it and invest significantly, we still need to vote and pray it ends up?
All that said.... focus is great for success and that you appear to do very well )))
